Infinity Ward has been busy creating new content for it's Call of Duty 4: Modern Assault shooter. They will be releasing 4 new maps, Broadcast, Creek, Chinatown and Killhouse! Not only that but the Developers have also decided to introduce new enviroments that no longer comprise of The Middle Eastern and Russian standard game lineup. This means we should expect to see newer Call of Duty 4 maps set in entirely new locations separate from the original game.

The map Broadcast is taken from the game's single player mode. It includes a TV Station which is the main focus of the map. There are multiple routes into and out of that main room. Some routes lead up to the building's second floor, replete with smaller rooms and hallways. The map is mostly indoors, so air strikes and helicopters will be largely ineffective except up on the roof, which you can access from the second floor, as well as in the expanded parking lot area outside the main building. On the other side of that parking lot is another new, smaller building that you can hide out in as well.

The next map is Creek a massive outdoors map with clusters of houses, ravines, a waterfall and multiple tracks and possibilties to approach from many different pathways. Watch out for snipers as there are plenty of places to hide in the thick grass or watch out snipers as someone could be sneaking up behind you! Further down the map you will find a cliff face and even a tunnel that leads through a hillside so plenty of places for everyone.
Chinatown is the third map and doesn't need much explaining. There is a video available on gametrailers.com (HD) that will give you some insight into this map. Killhouse is a bonus map and not many details have been released on this. More than likely it will be a close-quarters type map, possible similar to the training course in the single player mode.

The Map Pack will initially be released on XBOX360 and PS3 as a paid download. Infinity Ward hasn't decided how the maps will be distributed on the PC so we will just have to wait and see. It could be a free release or possible a paid download as other developers seem to be doing.
