Which flash diffuser to use with SB800?
I am looking for a diffuser for my Nikon SB800. I have two that I am considering so far...Joe Demb DFD Pro at http://www.dembflashproducts.com/diffuser/instructions/diffuser_alone/

I was told in a camera group I belong to that the diffuser that come with my flash wasn't very good.
I don't have an SB800, but shoot regularly with an SB600.
I'm curious about the remarks you read, as the diffuser that came with your SB800 looks similar to the Sto-fen product which has very high ratings. Personally, I have the Gary Fong Whaletail, but found it too bulky. Most of the time, I use either a Lumiquest 80-20 with inserts or a homemade diffuser made from an old cough syrup bottle. I love the Lumiquest, as it fold flat and fits in a side pocket of my camera bag. The homemade diffuser was, of course, basically free.

The Demb looks inviting, but I'm afraid it might have the 'flopping hinge' problem I found with my Whaletail.
Reviews I've seen of the Lightsphere show great results, but it may come off in as you move around.
My main diffuser? The homemade one. I even keep spares made from smaller Nescafe Taster's Choice plastic jars for backup. I pasted a paper label inside the back of each diffuser to direct more of the light forward. Then I shoot with the flash either at 90 or 45 degrees, depending on the room I'm in.
